For this effect, we achieved this by creating a throwing star out of paper.
We did this to replace a real knife to ensure that it was safe to make the

STABBING EFFECT
For this effect, we achieved this by having a bottle of fake blood made from cranberry juice. We chose a bottle in particular because it was easy to squeeze content out of. Also, we used cranberry juice, to achieve the look of thick blood coming out from the characters neck.
Overall, using this worked well, because it achieved the look that we wanted, however when filming for the real thing, we will use a syringe instead of a bottle to make it more professional and to ensure that the bottle is not seen by the audience (using a syringe is less obvious in comparison to a bottle). The movement required to push and squeeze the bottle at the same time was difficult to disguise, but with a syringe, it is only a push from the thumb.
